iPhone Case With Zippered Side Pocket:
My iPhone case is an open-end slip-in case with a zippered side pocket. I begin with the first steps for making a zippered bag using Zipper Tape. However part way through I turn the bag into an open ended slip in case.

The instructions provide a set of measurements which might be a bit small in width (depends on how much you want to carry in the zippered compartment – I’d definitely add 3/4″ to the width/height of the fabric piece.
If you do make the case wider you will want a strap with a bit of velcro that comes across the top opening to make sure the phone doesn’t fall out.
iPhone Case With Front Pockets
My leather iPhone case has two additional pockets – here are instructions for how to insert front pockets. I made those pockets the correct size to carry credit cards and identification cards. With those cards with me, I don’t need to carry a purse of any kind.
