A while back I described my 5 essential sewing tools. Yesterday I was teaching a workshop on some simple garment alterations. The gals were just learning to sew and had very few tools and what they had didn’t work well. I promised them a list of what I consider essential and useful tools whether you’re garment making, fixing garments, or making quilts.
